Dr. Hedges’s obstetrics practice focuses on the care of women and their newly-developing babies during pregnancy, childbirth and the period shortly after birth. He will see an expectant mother on a regular basis to check the progress of the pregnancy and ensure the health of the mother and child through physical exams, lab work, imaging, and patient education.

As a gynecologist, Dr. Hedges deals with the health maintenance and diseases of women, especially of the reproductive organs. He works with many issues affecting women’s health including infertility, menopause, incontinence, abnormal bleeding, family planning, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, and pregnancy. Also included in his gynecological work is preventative care in the form of well woman exams and patient education.
